a new you

You’ve got your finances sorted out.

you’re tending to anyhealth issues.

the kids have left home.

work is figuring less in your life…so what’s next?

It’s easy to slip into the standard things you “should” do when you retire. But sometimes, these roles and activities can be limiting or less satisfying than you’d like. Society seems to have a narrow path marked “older women”. Maybe you want to wander off that path - but to where, and for what? The Re-Imagining Ageing workshops are designed to enable you to create your own unique blueprint for ageing.

First, we focus on your deepest values and what’s important to you. What makes you feel good? What do you believe in? What are some of your dearest dreams that you’ve postponed so long you’ve almost forgotten them? Maybe you think you don’t have the resources to make those dreams a reality - but where’s there’s a will, there’s a way, is just as true now, as it has been throughout your life.

Maybe there is something audacious and bold you’d like to do, but stepping away from your routine life, into this new one seems daunting. Or too ambitious. Or something that is now “too late”. It’s not too late - but we need to start now. Here. With what we’ve got to make our dreams a reality.

Perhaps you have a hobby that might become a late-life career?

Perhaps you want to write a book, but wonder where to start?

Perhaps you want to travel but are scared of doing it solo?

Perhaps you’ve always wanted to climb a mountain, but… that’s for young people, right?

Using a combination of Human-Centred Design Thinking strategies, and cues from Positive Psychology, we will help you shape an attainable plan for you living the life you want, the life you dream of, the life you deserve.
